School is back in session and so many of our runners are back on a regular schedule for Fall race season. Even though we aren't ever sure what the weather will be like, its exciting to wish for a "cooler" race day. The support in this group is absolutely amazing. From cheering at races to lifting each other up through our Facebook page - this is a wonderful group to be a part of! With lot's of races going on - good luck to everyone training hard to reach those goals - from a 5k to that first marathon - we are cheering you on and admire your goals and dedication.
Streaking Challenge
This month we had a streaking challenge! How many consecutive days could you complete a mile - walking or running? This was a lot of fun and had several of our ladies out and about daily!
Dogs of MRTT
There were a record number of pictures posted of our runners with their dogs! If you don't have a dog as a running buddy and just want to walk and visit one, don't forget about the Jog a Dog program through the Allen Animal Shelter. It's a great way to help exercise and play with the shelter dogs and help find them a forever home. Ask a CL today for more info!
Miles with Miles
Miles has been all over this month, mostly enjoying hanging around all the MRTT kiddos! He has definitely been well loved and can't wait to see where he ends up going next! Keep posting those pictures and passing him along.
Enjoy the View
We have taken in some amazing views this month, thanks for sharing!
Out for a Run
Look at all these awesome ladies making no excuses to get out and get it done! Always an inspiration and love seeing everyone active and having fun at the same time. (Or at least smiling long enough to make us think it was fun!)
Race Day
Congratulations to everyone who raced this month! We had a lots of runners at the Tupps Brewery 5K and Plano Balloon Festival, with a MRTT supported and much needed boob ice stop for runners. The support from MRTT on the road and off the road is amazing!!!!
Happy running in October - hopefully Fall will come?! We also want to thank our local MRTT sponsors for supporting our group!
