Wow! February has flown by and the weather was crazy throughout those 28 days. It was almost impossible to avoid the rain, but we didn't let that stop us. Workouts moved inside, running on treadmills or just embracing the weather with body glide :) One of our awesome runners shared some advice that sums up a wonderful race mantra - "the best runner on the course is the one having the most fun." All the training, all the planning, all the work to make race day perfect can help make race day successful, but don't forget that the beauty of a race is the things we have no control over. As we gear up for race season, don't let that leg crap or emergency pit stop steal your joy. Find a way to smile at the sign "Hit for Power" being held by a kiddo cheering his mom on, embrace the weather that threw you a curve ball, and most importantly never forget your gift to be on the course. Be thankful for your ability to be active, be proud of your training that got you to this moment and don't forget to be the BEST runner out there! Keep smiling and keep encouraging others ladies - happy running!
February Challenge
Our group had a good time participating in the MRTT Olympics. We all tried to earn medals through miles and we brought home the bronze, silver and gold! This was a fun challenge!

Race Day
Congratulations to everyone who raced this month! We had a lots of BIG races already: The Phoenix marathon, Rocky Racoon 50 Miler, Love It trail Run, Cupid Couples 5K, the Disney Half and more! Don't forget to list your race in the Races We Are Doing document, it can be found in the FB files section. We can give you a pre-race shout-out also :)
