May flew by so quick, I think we missed spring? It got HOT quick and that humidity just won't go away. I don't know about you all, but I feel like I didn't get the time to ramp up and adjust to the heat. On my weekend long runs I feel like a vampire watching the sun continue to rise and panicking I must run faster to get home soon :) This is typically the season that we all start to hibernate. Any run is a victory and we adjust our schedules to accommodate for that brutal sun. Remember to listen to your body - walk if you need to, slow down if you need to and drink plenty of water throughout each day to stay hydrated.

May Challenge
We love the Flat Runner Girl challenge! Everyone prints out and colors their flat runner and brings her along to workout. Out for a Run
Great job getting out there this month! With all the end of school craziness and sudden warmer temps, it was easy to find reasons not to run. Sign up for a race, plan a frunner meet-up and find your reason to keep going throughout the summer!

Run Like A Mother
We had a huge showing at this race! We are extremely thankful for Frisco Running Company and Get Racing for all they do to support our group, so it was nice to see our group support them a this wonderful race.
